INVITATION TO TENDER

 

Factories Corporation of Jamaica Limited (FCJ), an Agency within the Ministry of Industry, Investment & Commerce invites tenders for Rehabilitation (Factory extension) Works at the following location:

White Marl SIC, (VAP – Unit #1)

White Marl, St. Catherine

Scope of Works:

The Works entail the (Wall finishes & Painting, Concrete Roof, Floor Finishes, doors & windows, etc.) at the above location.  The successful bidder will be required to provide all material, labour and equipment to complete all aspects of the project.

Eligibility:

Contractors must be registered on the National Contracts Commission’s (NCC) List of Approved Contractors at grade 4 and above in the Building Construction category.

 Availability:

Tender Documents will be made available to interested contractors as of Friday, January 13, 2012 from the address below between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekdays.

 Fee:

A non-refundable payment of $4,000.00 in cash or manager’s cheque payable to Factories Corporation of Jamaica will be required for tender documents.

 Return of Tenders:

Tenders are to be placed in an envelope clearly marked “Factory Extension – White Marl SIC – (VAP – Unit #1) White Marl, St. Catherine” and deposited along with the required documents in the tender box located in the lobby of FCJ offices no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2012, addressed to:

Opening of Tenders:

Tenders will be publicly opened immediately after closure in the Boardroom of FCJ. Tenders not accompanied by a valid NCC and Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) will be rejected.
